Program/Service Notes:
Primary service is confidential information and referral. Information is provided regarding the adoption process, international, special needs and domestic, with emphasis on special needs waiting children in the state of Wisconsin. Referrals are made to counselors, post adoptive services, licensed adoption agencies and other services, such as basic need providers, upon request. Individuals are invited to call at any time during the adoption process for support and advocacy. There is also an on-site resource library including videos, books, magazines and tapes all of which relate to special needs of children and adoption. The Family Resource Center is the site for year round Family Fun and Parent Education Nights featuring speakers and/or presenters on various adoption issues of fun activities for the whole family.
