Program/Service Notes:
An alternative to respite care, RAD is held the 2nd Sat. of each mo. for 4 hrs. at a minimal cost to give parents the opportunity to take a short break while their children enjoy crafts, games, outings or other activities. School-age children and their siblings are welcome. Special themed respite activity days will be scheduled in Oct. and Dec. ACCOMMODATIONS FOR DISABILITIES: Reserved accessible parking is available. Building is free from steps and curbs. Doorways and hallways are at least 36" wide. Restrooms accommodate wheelchairs. Someone is available to read information one-on-one with clients. Fully accessible outdoor playground. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: * Activity organization, oversight and assistance. VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR: Family Services Manager.
