Service Area: Locally - Forest, Oneida and Vilas. Additionally, the Great Lakes Inter-Tribal Council provides services to Native Americans in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota.

Program/Service Notes:
The Lactation Education Assistance Program promotes breast feeding. Information regarding differences in breast milk and formula are given to Native Americans to assist in making informed choices for infant feeding. Follow up care includes qualified teaching of the simple techniques of breast feeding. Education components are offered to professional health care workers at clinics, hospitals, and various facilities to update breast feeding management.
