Participation in the 4-K classroom allows the children to:
*Become aware of the awesome presence of God in every aspect of their lives.
*Broaden and strengthen their social skills through meaningful interaction with peers, adults and their environment.
*Practice various ways to resolve conflict.
*Develop fine motor skills through exposure to writing, art materials and play.
*Develop gross motor skills through planned and spontaneous physical activity.
*Find ways to think creatively and exercise reasoning skills.
*Consider themselves learners in the areas of writing, reading, math, and science through developmentally appropriate hands-on lessons.
*Grow accustomed to the routine of the school day.
*Gain confidence in their ability to learn and succeed in school.
