Fort Wilderness is a not for profit, non-denominational Christian camp. We are located in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin, 15 miles north of Rhinelander. Founded in 1956, “The Fort” exists to present the good news of Jesus Christ to those still seeking and build-up those who have accepted Him through God’s Word and brotherly love. People come to Fort Wilderness to be refreshed as creation offers peace from the everyday stress of life. Our message is the grace of God freely offered to all through Jesus Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross. Our desire is to show Christ’s Light lived out in our lives. Fort Wilderness has a wide variety of program for all ages.
