Program Details:
Operating Agency: Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (Governmental)
Person In Charge: Program Coordinator:Cindy Kiesling
Hours: 8:00 to 4:30 Monday through Friday or by appointment.
Eligibility: Workers who have been affected by plant / business closings and/or permanent layoffs.
Fees: None.
Intake Process: Individuals are pre-screened by phone initially, and if eligibility is likely, client will be brought in for interview.
Service Area: Most areas in Wisconsin.

Program/Service Notes:
The WI State AFL-CIO LETC Labor, Education, Training Center is currently contracted to provide services to laid off workers through the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Dislocated Worker Program.
Services available to dislocated workers include-
*Rapid Response to layoffs or business closings.
*On-site pre-layoff services.
*Development of Labor-Management Committees.
*Career counseling and skills assessment.
*Re-employment planning.
*Occupational classroom training.
*Support services.
*Career transition services.
