Our main goal of the ICW Department is to protect the best interest of FCP enrolled, or eligible for enrollment, Indian Children and promote the stability and security of the FCP Tribe and families by implementing the requirements established in the Indian Child Welfare Act and the appropriate Tribal customs, codes, law and policy.

All ICW personnel are required to protect personal information concerning child victims and witnesses received by them.

The ICW department identify children and youth who are in need of protection because of neglect, abuse, abandonment, lack of sufficient parental concern or support.

Provide services in a manner designed to promote personal and family unity and economic and social stability, working towards the attainment of self-sufficiency.
ICW is not involved in custody issues between parents or guardians unless abuse or neglect are involved.
